• I'm an Istanbul-based architect, designer, and photographer with a strong interest in information technologies. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at the Mimar Sinan Academy of Fine Arts, where my work contributes to discussions surrounding the trustworthiness of digital media and the influence of the built environment on public perception.

I earned my doctoral degree (PhD) from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and maintain the title of Honorary Research Fellow at The Bartlett. Previously, I held the position of the inaugural Career Transition Fellow at the Doctoral School, UCL.

Born in Istanbul, I hold a Professional Architecture Degree (B Arch) from Istanbul Technical University, and Post-Professional Architecture MS from Pratt Institute, New York. During my undergraduate I spent one year at Politecnico di Milano and I recently completed a visiting researcher program at Yale University School of Architecture.

My work has been exhibited internationally including at the Media Architecture Biennale and London Design Festival. You can find about my recent publications here.
